Proposed New Medical Staff Bylaws and Appendices for Review
The new proposed bylaws were posted on September 25th for members of all Presbyterian Medical Staffs to be able to review prior to initiation of the voting process. During the posting time frame, comments and questions were received; they centered on transparency surrounding changes in the bylaws (the ability to review a red lined version) and the ED Call age limit. In order to address these two categories of comments, the following documents are posted for each facility:
An updated summary of the major changes to the bylaws
A draft document of the new proposed bylaws, showing “red lines”
A clean copy of the proposed new bylaws, with the revision to move the ED call age limit back to 55
These documents are posted for an additional 15 days. Active Medical Staff members will receive a ballot to vote on the new proposed bylaws, as well as the three appendices (which are still posted). Any questions or comments may be submitted by sending an e-mail to the facility’s listed e-mail address.
